Ok Google prompted me here, and it's an infrequent review from me, but I think one that is due. 

 I have been with AVANTAGE VAG WEST since 2020 with my 2017 VW Touran at ~120,000 km. Now (Jan 2026) around 244,000+km. So, it's been 6 years and 120k km. (And from Mar 2024 another vehicle 2018 BMW 216i Active Tourer was also put under their care.) 

 All sorts of normal servicing and plain vanilla issues have been performed, mixed with bigger jobs like mechatronics replacement and engine overhaul. 

I have just completed their in-house ECU Stage 1 + TVS TCU Stage 2+ tuning for the Touran. The first time I have done anything "optional". The gearbox is now much more in the sweet spot on the power curve in both D and S modes, and smoothness and drivability has noticeably improved and its only Day 1. Looking forward to discovering more. 

 Basically, they can pretty much troubleshoot and sort out anything at a reasonable (mid-tier) price and efficiently. They have never hard sell anything. They will only engage if you bring it up. But even if you bring it up, they won't go out of their way to make you spend unless you are overenthusiastic in which case they don't need to do too much. They are very understanding. That's my experience with them. Come to think of it, I have never considered looking for another workshop. That's as high a silent approval as you can get from me personally. But here with this review is my endorsement and acclaim for them. 

Shout-out to the service advisors over the years Azizi, Haikel, Javis, Edmund and whoever I have missed out or don't know the names of. They are detailed yet concise. Patient, friendly, and helpful even though they are pretty busy outfits. And to all the mechanics/technicians too. Thank you! 

Had a hit and run incident where my bumper budged out due to the hit. Went down during lunch and was served by Wei Xiong and Edmund. They went extra mile to fix my problem within 30 mins during lunch hour. Very nice and honest service. Definitely will be back for further services as I am now with Kaki Bukit branch.
